Healthcare Rec2Rec agency opens
Appoint Rec2Rec, the first healthcare recruitment to recruitment agency in the UK to have a dedicated team with over a decade of experience and knowledge solely in healthcare launched on 1st April. The agency is already attracting a huge amount of interest from candidates and clients due to its ability to fully understand their requirements.
Appoint was set up by Ian Munro, in direct response to a gaping hole in the market. Ian, who also owns locum agency Castlerock Care Services, was frustrated by the lack of specialist healthcare sector knowledge within the Rec2Rec industry and felt that the issue needed to be addressed in order to benefit both industry professionals and the wider public.
He said: “Castlerock has been going for over ten years and there have been several occasions when we have turned to Rec2Rec agencies to help fulfil our own staffing requirements. However, more often than not, they have been ill-equipped to do so. The majority of Rec2Rec agencies are great on a generic level, but not so great at understanding the needs of niche markets.
“Healthcare recruitment very much stands alone as the one faction in which mistakes cannot afford to be made. Quite simply, lives are at stake. Skills matching is the ultimate priority and it takes a certain type and amount of experience to be able to do this.”
Appoint Rec2Rec is based in St Helens but covers the whole of the UK. Manager Lynn Spruce has worked in recruitment for seven years and has a wealth of experience on both regional and national levels.
Lynn said: “I’m genuinely very excited about Appoint. By utilising my expertise and drawing on Castlerock’s decade of experience in healthcare recruitment, we are able to offer a very unique and much needed service. We’re already looking for candidates to fill vacancies as care consultants, branch managers and recruitment consultants in various locations across the country.”
